  • Task: Research the history of the Olympics, including the origin in ancient Greece and the modern revival. Discuss the Olympic values: Excellence, Friendship, and Respect.
  • Activity: Create a poster or digital presentation showcasing interesting facts about the Olympics and its values.
ACTIVITY 2: COUNTRIES AND CULTURES
Objective: Explore the diversity of countries participating in the Olympics.
  • Task: Each Girl Scout chooses a country participating in the 2024 Olympics. Research the country's culture, traditional sports, and famous Olympians.
  • Activity: Present your findings to the group and create a flag of the chosen country using craft materials.
ACTIVITY 3: OLYMPIC SPORTS AND ATHLETES
Objective: Learn about different Olympic sports and the athletes who compete in them.
